Do you want to help conserve the environment?
Join this initiative where you will contribute to improving the natural environment by helping with the reforestation of native species. Initiatives like this help absorb atmospheric CO2 through trees, combating climate change.

On November 16, we will be hosting a reforestation event at Jane Long Academy. This school, which has nature-deficient grounds and the highest rate of refugee students in the state, will greatly benefit from this initiative. By enhancing the environment, we aim to create safer opportunities for the students play outdoors and learn about nature, in nature.

On December 7, another reforestation event will take place in a natural area in Alief. This project aims to provide relief along some of the larger esplanades in the community by planting a linear forest to help mitigate heat and reduce stress on the roadways.

Both events will offer numerous additional benefits, including flood prevention, improved air quality, and enhanced mental and physical health.

What will your role be as a volunteer?
Volunteers will participate in an environmental day, taking part in tasks related to planting and conserving native species, with the opportunity to learn about the local fauna and flora with the guidance of an expert environmental organization.
