You will support a social organization/NGO, according to its needs, in implementing CO2 emission reduction projects/initiatives, highlighting your talent, knowledge, and professional experience.
You will give support to different organizations dedicated to improving the life of people in vulnerable situations: collaboration with the Red Cross in implementing its integral study and improvement plan for sustainable mobility within the organization; with ICLI (Engineering for Cooperation), in designing a prototype of a rural kitchen with a CO2 meter to improve the quality of life of several impoverished communities, among others.
Volunteers and organizations, you will contribute, together, to a fair and inclusive energy transition, empowering vulnerable groups to meet the challenge of achieving a more sustainable world.
Volunteer role:
You will take part in this initiative in a multidisciplinary team, together with other colleagues from the organization, as well as with representatives from the social organization.
You will learn first-hand the social reality of groups in vulnerable situations with whom the social organizations taking part in this program, and you, will be able to contribute to improving their lives.
Your professional experience and knowledge, together with that of your colleagues, will be the key piece of this initiative, in which innovation and teamwork will play an essential role to design and develop the action plan.
You will have the support of the Repsol Foundation and will be provided with the supporting documentation according to the subject of the project (deliverables from previous editions; resources on circular economy, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, etc.).
Specifically, you will have the opportunity to face a different challenge, get to know the social ecosystem from within and, above all, contribute to transforming the life of people in vulnerable situations.
